Vista Vistas is located on the picturesque Limpopo Highlands on the top
of the Waterberg Mountain and malaria free bushveld of South Africa's
Limpopo (Northern) Province. This private nature reserve is situated between
Mokopane (Potgietersrus) and Mookgopong (Naboomspruit), a mere 2 hours
(207km) drive from
 Pretoria
or 2:30 hours from Johannesburg International Airport. Our exclusive, but
yet affordable reserve is ideal for family and corporate breakaways, team
building and small bush conferences.
The reserve boasts many secret ravines, at times enclosed by 300m cliffs
with waterfalls cascading into deep rock pools, echoing to the call of an
African Fish Eagle and yet ideally suitable for swimming.
While losing yourself in the many spectacular vistas and entrancingly
different plant communities growing on the high plains and in the deep
valleys, you may be surprised by the sudden appearance of a herd of giraffe,
graceful kudu cows or perhaps, a single majestic Nyala bull.

Mabote River Camp
Mabote, Sotho for "small strong
river", is situated in the southern ravine of the farm, Groothoek, approx.
64km west of Potgietersrus. Mabote opened in1998 and is run by the
Peens family, the camp is beautifully situated along the river and
overlooks a vast rock face. Other areas of interest around the camp are:
stunning waterfalls, hiking trails as well as the Rock Art from which
the Mabote Emblem was adopted...
